The Windhoek International School (WIS) basketball team travelled to Swakopmund and played two friendly games against coastal opposition.

WIS defeated Coastal Haws 58-36 and Oceans 55-48 on the occasion at the newly revamped Vineta Stadium Basketball court.

The exercise served the purpose of strengthening ties between the participating clubs while providing players with some game time.
