Walvisbaai ­skitter by ATKV-­redenaars

Angelica Basson van die International School of Walvis Bay is die algehele wenner in die afdeling Afrikaans addisionele taal graad 8 en 9: onvoorbereid van die ATKV-redenaarskompetisie se nasionale ronde in Suid-Afrika.

Sy is ook aangewys as die beste taalgebruiker in die afdeling Afrikaans addisionele taal graad 8 en 9: onvoorbereid.

Elf leerlinge uit Namibië, van wie sewe vanuit die Erongostreek, het aan die kompetisie deelgeneem. Die leerlinge wat deurgedring het na die finaal was Dominique Peterson van Laerskool Walvisbaai, Kristen Peterson (Laerskool Walvisbaai), Petrus Ekandjo (Walvisbaai Privaat Hoërskool), Elmi McCarthy (Walvisbaai Privaat Hoërskool), Maurice Hinterholzer (Walvisbaai Privaat Hoërskool) en Queen Uukule (International School of Walvis Bay).
