Met vrouebemagtigingsvegters die wêreld oor op ’n missie, het Beatrice Schultz besluit om haar deel vir dié beweging te doen. Dus stel sy op 20 Februarie die konsep van “Future Females” aan die kus bekend.

Future Females is in 2017 deur Cerina Bezuidenhout en Lauren Dallas in Kaapstad gestig toe hulle besef daar bestaan ’n leemte ten opsigte van vroue verteenwoordiging in entrepreneurskap. Die doel was toe en bly steeds om vroue in die besigheidsektor te bemagtig.

“Vroue in die bedryf weet nie altyd waar om vir hulp aan te klop nie. Future Females dien as ’n goeie netwerkgeleentheid vir juis hulle,” sê Schultz, wat dien as direkteur van die Swakopmund-tak van die organisasie.

Sy beklemtoon hoewel mense weet dat die organisasie vir vroue is, dit geensins anti-mans is nie.

“Die beweging glo in die Engelse leuse van ‘complete, not compete’ en dat mans juis nodig is om vroue in die huidige stelsel te betrek.”

Future Females het maandelikse temas en hierdie maand word daar op geld en netwerkvorming gefokus.

’n Spesiale gas vir die eerste byeenkoms is Njeri Mwangi, hoof van die Capricorn-groep se teen-geldwassery eenheid. Met ’n agtegrond in forensiese ouditering, is sy die perfekte kandidaat om vroue te leer hoe om hul finansies te bestuur.

Daarna deel Zodidi Gases haar raad oor netwerkvorming. Sy is die eienaar en stigter van African Naturals, ’n haar- en velsorgreeks wat slegs van natuurlike produkte gebruik maak. Sy is ook die stigter van “Die beweging vir natuurlike hare” en het selfs al ’n fees ter ere van natuuurlike hare gehou.

Die geleentheid vind by die Swakopmund Plaza Hotel plaas en kaartjies wat vooruit gekoop word kos N$85 of N$110 by die deure.
