Torra Bay campsite remains closed

19 May 2020 | Tourism

Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) announced yesterday that its Torra Bay campsite, which was set to open from 16 to 24 May 2020, will not open due to unforeseen circumstances.

NWR acting managing director Dr Matthias Ngwangwama apologised for the inconvenience caused for clients that had already started travelling to Torra Bay or were intending to travel there during the week.

Ngwangwama said he is well aware that this was unwelcome news and that the matter at hand was beyond NWR’s control.

He encouraged clients to get in touch with the NWR reservations department where they can either rebook their stay at any one of the other properties or request a refund.
