FNB Namibia recently awarded outstanding performing coastal estate agents and agencies at an annual gala dinner held in Swakopmund.

Tienie Mouton, FNB Coastal & Southern Area Manager, expressed his profound gratitude and thanked all estate agents for their loyalty on the occasion.

Mouton highlighted that FNB’s latest housing index indicate that property prices continued contracting aggressively across the country towards the end of 2018.

“The deep recession experienced over the past two years, has put severe strain on the sector. Central property prices contracted by 2.3% while coastal prices edged even lower to -13.9% over the past year.”

He added that the bank value the fact that estate agents are demonstrating a clear commitment to playing an active role in the development of Namibia, particularly in the property industry.

Combined business received from the top 4 agencies which included Helvi Mupupa Realtors, Homepage Estate Agents, J&B Estates and Ramos Realtors exceeded the N$29 million mark.

Among the respective top performers were Leroy Kruger of Kruger Real Estate who was named as the Coastal Estate agents who registered transactions between N$3 and N$5 million.

Olga Human of J & B Estates, Helvi Mupupa of Helvi Mupupa Realtors and Harrold Page of HomePage Estate Agency were acknowledged as the coastal estate agents who registered transactions between N$5 – N$10 million.

Harold Page from HomePage Estate Agency is the winning rural agent for the coastal area with HomePage Estate Agency named as the winning rural Agency of the Year.
