Verlede maand is 43 verdagtes in hegtenis geneem vir die besit en handel van dwelms.

Verlede maand is 43 verdagtes in hegtenis geneem vir die besit en handel van dwelms.

Volgens 'n Namibiese polisieverslag het die wetstoepassers verlede maand landswyd dwelms ter waarde van sowat N$448 230 gekonfiskeer.

Altesame 43 verdagtes is in hegtenis geneem vir die handel en/of besit van dwelms van wie 40 ­Namibiërs, twee ­Kongolese en een 'n Nigeriër is.

Desember se beslagleggings bestaan uit 37 933 kg dagga ter waarde van sowat N$379 330 en 565 tablette Mandrax van sowat N$67 800, asook elf eenhede kokaïen van sowat N$1 100.
