Three injured in two MVAs

According to the police incident report, the suspect (driving a Jeep) failed to stop at a stop sign and consequently collided with a red Volkswagen Polo.
Two women sustained moderate injuries while the suspect and two other passengers survived the accident unscathed.
The suspect was charged with reckless and or negligent driving, failure to ascertain the nature and extent of an injured person, fleeing from an accident scene, and failure to render assistance to an injured person after accident.
He will appear at the Swakopmund magistrate’s court tomorrow.
In another incident, a man (27) sustained injuries when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving approximately 50 km from Usakos towards Arandis.
The victim sustained back injuries and was taken to the Usakos State Hospital.
He was later transferred to the Swakopmund State Hospital for treatment and is in a stable condition.
