A wide variety of entertainment and activities for holidaymakers who plan to celebrate the festive season at the coast have been lined up.
The 2019 Bank Windhoek Swakopmunder Musikwoche takes place from Sunday 8 to Saturday 14 December 2019 in Swakopmund. The annual music event, is hosted under the patronage of the German Evangelic Lutheran Church’s Swakopmund community.
Music professionals from both national and international institutions have been invited to instruct and assist young and old Namibian musicians.
The 2019 Bank Windhoek Swakopmunder Musikwoche will also have a free open general rehearsal on Saturday, 14 December 2019 from 9:00 to 13:00. The main concert will be staged at the Trendhaus from 19:00 on the same day.
The annual Coastal Senior Open Golf tournament, will take place at the Rossmund Golf Course on Wednesday, 11 until Thursday, 12 December 2019.
Aldo Behrens, Theo Cookson, Christene Cookson, and The Mascato Singers, will host an entertaining theatrical play known as the Two Hands Clapping at Swakopmund’s Haus der Jugend on Thursday, 19 December 2019.

The Bank Windhoek sponsored Beach Volleyball Bash, designed to cater for professional players and young holidaymakers, will hype up the coast on Saturday, 21 December 2019 at Langstrand. The day-long event is hosted by Namib Rage.
The annual Henties Bay Open Golf Day will be played over 36 holes and is a highlight for all golf fanatics. The event will take place on Saturday, 21 December 2018 at the Henties Bay Golf Club. For more information, contact Jurie Engelbrecht on Cell: 081 129 3128.
The Namib Tiger Trails cycling event is a collaboration between Bank Windhoek and The Lighthouse Group and will take place on Saturday, 21 December 2019 at Tiger Reef in Swakopmund. The event will see cyclists compete over distances of 25, 40 and 80 kilometres on a circular track.
