The Industrial Acid Proving Namibia (IAP) Swakopmund Pool Club (SPC) inter-club tournament took place at the Locker Room pub in Swakopmund on Saturday, where Quinton Swartz emerged victorious.

Swartz defeated Marlon Geneker in the final by 3-1.

“I feel good winning this competition because I have something to take home – a tournament trophy that I can show my kids,” Swartz said.

According to him, working on his playing skills through training contributed to his victory. “I think I won this tournament because I believe in myself. I enjoy playing pool and I practice a lot,” he said.

According to Swartz, the competition created an opportunity for club players to sharpen their shooting skills as they prepare to compete against other clubs later this year.

“Each time we play, every player gets a bit of practice in. This helps to bring improvement. We will continue to play our best as a club,” Swartz said.

Nine players took part in the competition.
