Social squash league resumes

12 September 2021 | Sports

The popular Namib Diesel social league kicked off the revival of squash action after many months of restrictions.

Bearing in mind that there are still some restrictions in place, it was good to see activity on the courts again.

The league began on 30 August to the joy of many players who have been waiting patiently to play some competitive squash again. What better way to get the fitness levels up again, than to fight to keep your present position on the club’s ladder?

It goes without saying that there are going to be many who are going to vie for those spots.

In the meantime, the match results for games already played:

Monday 30 August
Lagoon Chalets [18] vs Namib Ventures [12], Gateway Logistics [14] vs Bitstream [16], FCS [24] vs Supatronix [6] and Namib Diesel [9] vs Woermann Brock Hardware & Building Supplies [21].

Wednesday 1 September.
Gateway Logistics [19] vs Namib Diesel [11], Lagoon Chalets [10] vs Woermann Brock Hardware & Building Supplies [20], Supatronix [8] vs Bitstream [22] and FCS [18] vs Namib Ventures [12].
