04 May 2020 | Crime
Two black rhinos were poached in the Purros area of northwestern Namibia. According to Romeo Muyunda, spokesman for the ministry of the environment, tourism and forestry, the two carcasses were discovered on 13 April 2020. “When the discovery was made, the carcasses were at least a week or two old,” Muyunda said. He did not say whether the horns had been removed, instead merely stating that the investigation was ongoing and that no perpetrators had been apprehended yet.
