Pro-Ed vier Sandkasteeldag

Die ATKV Duine-tak van Pro-Ed Akademnie op Swakopmund is vol planne.

Pro-Ed Akademie se ATKV Duine-tak het vir die tweede jaar Internasionale Sandkasteeldag gevier.

Vanjaar is dit as deel van die skoolafsluiting gedoen. Mnr. Dentie Louw, 'n onderwyser, het vertel dit was ‘n koue dag, maar dit het nie kinders gekeer om hul voete en emmers in die water te sit nie. “Die hele skool was betrokke, van die Toktokkie-kleuterskool tot die graad 12’s. Elke klas het ’n uur en half gekry om hul sandkastele te bou.” Meer as 20 sandkastele het op die Swakopmund Mole gestaan.

Die Duine-tak het ook by die ATKV se jaarvergadering wat in Junie plaasgevind het, ’n toekenning vir nasiebou ontvang. Volgens die lede het die ATKV het nog baie projekte wat wag vir 2019, en ons beplan ’n gróót sandkasteeldag vir 2020.”
