Thomas Thomas; “… what can’t break you, makes you stronger’’

Swakopmund ∙ Leena Ndakevondjo

Thomas Thomas (33), a local music and film producer, will not allow a lack of support derail his plans; the motivational speaker has too much love and passion for what he does.

“Nothing comes easy in life. What can’t break you, makes you stronger,” he said.

Thomas developed a passion for producing and filming while at school.

He formed his first beats by drumming his fingers on his school desks and expanded his passion by visiting music studios.

These days he owns “Onghushu Media”, a music studio in Swakopmund, and intends to become one of the best music producers and a film director of note.

“I think it is essential to empower the youth and make it my mission to do so when working with them on projects. I am a perfectionist and go over the projects I work on repeatedly. I also do follow ups and ask for feedback from clients. This allows me to work constantly improve as a producer.”

Thomas stays ahead of the pack by constantly checking up on the latest trends in producing and filming, and to ensure that he broadens his skills and remains relevant for his clients and their audiences.

“My dream is to open a top-notch studio where I will able to accommodate and motivate upcoming artists. I also want to reach out to orphans and vulnerable children.”

Thomas already produced for the likes of Vilix Munene, Kalux and Fabbie.

He advises the youth to be dedicated, to study and work hard towards their future.

“You don’t just need a degree to succeed in life, it’s all about passion.”
