NMH donates to Twaloloka residents

29 July 2020 | Local News

Namibia Media Holdings (NMH) sponsored food parcels for 15 Twaloloka families, after hundreds of people living at the informal settlement were left homeless when their shacks burnt down on Sunday evening.

NMH public relations executive of Maggy Mbako said that it is not up to government alone to assist the families affected by the devastating fire.

“It is our Namibian duty to assist our fellow men when in need. The Erongo 24/7 office has been working closely with the residents of Twaloloka since its establishment and it was only fitting that they come to their assistance during this crisis.”
