NamGreenWood help herwin

Streng voorwaardes is gestel vir ’n plaaslike onderneming wat herwinbare materiaal versamel.

Die Swakopmund-munisipaliteit het tydens sy maandelikse agendavergadering NamGreenWood Ent CC toestemming gegee om herwinbare materiaal van die Swakopmund-stortingsterrein te verwyder.

NamGreenWood het aansoek gedoen om materiaal van hoë-densiteit poliëtileen (HDPE), soos emmers, plastiekspeelgoed, brandstoftenke van voertuie, roesweerstandige plastiekpype, motorbuffers of enige HDPE-produkte, van die asgate te herwin. Dit sal gebruik word om soortgelyke bruikbare produkte te vervaardig.

Volgens die burgemeester van Swakopmund, Paulina Nashilundo, is daar reeds goedgekeurde herwinnaars, wat 'n minimum van N$1.50 per kilogram plastiekrommel moet verdien.

Nashilundo dring ook aan dat 'n maandelikse rekord van die herwinning gehou word en dié herwinbare materiaal een maal 'n maand verwyder moet verwyder.



Meubels

“NamGreenWood moet hul eie vervoer verskaf en sorg vir die versameling en verwydering van die herwinbare materiaal. Geen stukkende vullisdromme wat die eiendom van die Swakopmund-munisipaliteit is, mag van die werf verwyder word sonder die goedkeuring van die stads­raad nie.”

“NamGreenWood moet die Swakopmund-stadsraad vrywaar teen enige beserings, eise of verliese wat deur NamGreenWood of sy kliënte opgedoen word.

“NamGreenWood moet ook meubels aan parke skenk en die meubels by plaaslike staatskole herstel as deel van hul sosiale verantwoordelikheid,” het Nashilundo gesê.

WPC is 'n materiaal wat van hout en plastiek gemaak word, en funksies soortgelyk aan hout het, maar verg minder onderhoud. Die herwinde plastiek word in 'n masjien gemaal en gebruik vir WPC, wat dan 'n 100% herwinde produk is. Dit word gebruik vir stoepvloere, heinings, piekniektafels, muurbedekking en laekostebehuising.
