More imported Covid cases surface

The minister of health and social services Dr Kalumbi Shangula announced another four positive cases of Covid-19, adding that all four are imported cases.
• Case 73 is a female (46) Indian national who travelled to Namibia on 17 June 2020 and was quarantined in Windhoek. As per protocols, she was tested for Covid-19. While she did not have signs and symptoms consistent with Covid-19, the result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.
• Case 74 is also a female (30) of Indian nationality who travelled to Namibia on 17 June 2020. She was placed in quarantine in Windhoek. She was tested for Covid-19 and the results returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.
• Case 75 (19) is another woman of Indian nationality who travelled to Namibia on 17 June 2020. She was placed in quarantine in Windhoek and did not have Covid-19 related signs and symptoms at the time she was tested. She is in a satisfactory condition.
• Case 76 is a Namibian male (21) who travelled from South Africa on 29 May 2020. He was placed in quarantine in Windhoek. He is a contact of cases 27, 28 and 29. He had Covid-19 related symptoms. The initial swabbing was done on 30 May 2020 and returned negative, but following a re-swab on 21 June 2020, the result returned positive on 23 June 2020. The patient is in a satisfactory condition.
