Police in the Erongo region are requesting the public’s assistance in tracing Andreas Kariseb (55).
According to deputy commissioner Erastus Iikuyu, Kariseb allegedly left his home at house number 772 Arandis, on Thursday (27 May), to go to work at the Husab mine.
“He didn't report for work, his cellphone is off and his whereabouts are currently unknown. He is brown in complexion, about 1.70m tall and Damara speaking. He was wearing a blue jean, black shoes and black and white T-shirt. He is originally from Usakos.”
According to the police, Kariseb allegedly called a friend in Usakos on Friday (28 May), saying that he was at a farm in the Otjimbingwe area. However, he did not reveal the name of the farm.
“According to a family member, this is the second time he has walked away from home. The last time he was found in Usakos.”
Anyone who has seen him or know of his whereabouts, is requested to contact Iikuyu at 081 246 4757, detective sergeant Jonas Karunga at 081 481 1487, or the nearest police station.
