Omaruru Engineering Works, met die Shell-diensstasie en Ilatulye Take Away, is ’n bekende familiebesigheid op Omaruru wat deur Anke Nel, Bubi Barth en Marika Badenhorst besit en bestuur word.

Die Shell-vulstasie en -motorwerkswinkel bestaan al byna ’n eeu met die eienaarskap wat oor vier geslagte oorgedra is.

Allerlei voertuigonderdele, batterye, fietsonderdele en bande, die maak van nommerplate, TV-antennas en kabels, asook verskeie ander items kan by die onderdelesentrum aangeskaf word.



In die werkswinkel kan enige voertuig van enige fabrikaat herstel word.

Die Shell-vulstasie beskik oor skoon ruskamers en kan besoek word vir petrol, diesel en enjinolie, asook om te verseker voertuie se banddruk is korrek.

Geriewe om bande te herstel en ’n karwassery word ook op die perseel bedryf.

Ilatulye Take Away, wat “geniet die maaltyd” beteken, bedien ’n wye verskeidenheid vars voorbereide gekookte etes, worsbroodjies, hamburgers, aartappelskyfies en vele meer.

Die wegneemete-afdeling is ook bekend vir sy spesiale “maak jou eie”-pizza. Kliënte kan hul eie pizza optower deur hul eie vulsel en die grootte te kies. Bestellings kan by 064 570 264 geplaas word.

Klante kan ook van die sitplekke by die wegneemete-afdeling gebruik maak om hul etes te geniet.

Kragpunte is beskikbaar vir kliënte om hul selfone te herlaai of om hul skootrekenaars te gebruik terwyl hulle wag.

Die winkel het ’n wye verskeidenheid produkte, soos hout, ys, roomys, koeldrank en lugtyd. Elektrisiteit kan ook by die toonbank gekoop word.
