Kontrakteur, ministerie stil oor oorstroomde pompstasie by Neckartal

Nog Salani Impregilo, nog die ministerie van landbou, water en grondhervorming het tot nou bekend gemaak wat vandag (Vrydag) tot die oorstroming by die pompstasie by die Neckartaldam gelei het.

Verskeie foto’s van water in die pompstasie het op sosiale media sirkuleer, met beweringe dat die skade nagenoeg N$20 miljoen beloop.

Die pompstasie maak deel uit van die waterleweringstelsel vir die besproeiingskema by die Neckartaldam. Dit is nog nie deur deur die kontrakteur van die dam, Salini Impregilo, aan NamWater oorhandig nie, het ‘n bron aan Republikein gesê.

Volgens die bron is die situasie onder beheer. Die ministerie het nog nie op ‘n skriftelike navraag hieroor reageer nie.

Rou water sal ongeveer 13 km stroomaf van die dam vir die besproeiingskema onttrek word.
