Die nuwe junior stadsraad is Vrydagaand amptelik ingehuldig. Kuundja Kavari van die International School of Walvis Bay is as junior burgemeester verkies en sy adjunk is Jacky Geirises van die Hoërskool Duneside. Die uitvoerende hoof is Anna Uupindi, ook van die Hoërskool Duneside. Tydens dieselfde geleentheid is 16 junior raadslede ingehuldig. Die uitvoerende raadslede is Selma Iilonga (adjunk uitvoerende hoof), Rosemary Geinus (sekretaris), Sarita Rossouw (adjunk-sekretaris), Amber Coetzee (tesourier), Valencia Naruses (adjunk-tesourier), Voilet Morrison (menslike hulpbronne beampte), Beata Nangombe (adjunk-menslike hulpbronne beampte), Juandro van Rooi (skakelbeampte), Tuli Haikola (adjunk-skakelbeampte), met Divan van Vreden, Erastus David en Pieter Sparks Nekonga wat as senior lede ingehuldig is.
