Die Hentiesbaaise sakevrou Daleen Agenbag hoop om deur middel van ’n besigheidsforum ’n verskil op die aftreedorp te maak.

“Ons het so vyf jaar gelede iets soorgelyk gehad, maar dit het op die ou end weens verskeie redes doodgeloop,” sê sy.

Sy wil dit egter nou laat herleef met die doel om as ’n samewerkingsplatform vir besighede te dien.

“Ek dink besighede moet gereguleer word. Enigiemand kan byvoorbeeld nie sommer net ’n haarsalon wil oopmaak nie. Ek dink ook ons sal moet saamwerk om meer toerisme- en beleggingsgeleenthede na Hentiesbaai te lok,” sê sy.

Daar sal geen aansluitingsfooie of lidmaatskapkostes betrokke wees nie en die groep sal poog om een keer elke drie maande te ontmoet sodat gesprekke gevoer kan word oor die behoeftes van die dorp se sakegemeenskap.

Besighede op die dorp word genooi om hul insae te gee oor dit wat ondernemings van Hentiesbaai raak.

“Ons kan nie oornag probleme oplos nie, maar saam kan ons aan ’n plan werk om dinge te verbeter. Kom met idees, gedagtes en voorstelle oor hoe ons Hentiesbaai ’n beter dorp kan maak,” het Agenbag in ’n openbare uitnodiging aan sakepersone in Hentiesbaai en Omdel geskryf.

Die groep hou op 7 Januarie om 09:00 hul eerste byeenkoms by Misty Bay Café.
