Four Covid-19 cases for Erongo

The executive director of the ministry of health and social services Ben Nangombe announced 45 new Covid-19 cases and 10 recoveries, with 1 345 results received from the laboratories.

Of the new cases, 18 are male and 27 are female, and the youngest is aged four and the oldest 75.

The confirmed cases are distributed in Windhoek (25), Otjiwarongo (5), Grootfontein (2), Swakopmund (2), Walvis Bay (2), Oshakati (2), Eenhana (2), Outapi (2), Onandjokwe (1), Rehoboth (1) and Rundu (1).

Nangombe said that among the cases announced today, three are from the Osire refugee camp in the Otjiwarongo district.

He also announced 10 new recoveries from Omaheke (5), //Kharas (4) and Ohangwena (1).

Of the active cases, seven are in serious to critical condition. In the Erongo region, one is seriously ill and two are in a critical condition. In the Khomas region, one is seriously ill and three are in a critical condition.
