Enkelma’s kry broodnodige ondersteuning

Die Single Mommies Market is geskep om sukkelende enkelma's toe te laat om goedere oor twee dae te verkoop om geld vir hul kinders te genereer - hetsy vir skoolfooie, kontant vir Kersgeskenke, of vir ekstra kruideniersware.

Die geleentheid vind op 26 en 27 November vanaf 08:00 tot 18:00 by die Woermann Brock Mondesa-parkeerterrein plaas.

Die organiseerder Olivia Anthea Christians, met die ondersteuning van Annecke de Beer, areabestuurder Woermann Brock Mondesa, het gesê dit is die eerste van sy soort.

“Mense en maatskappye het reeds gevra dat ons dit volgende jaar ten minste twee keer kan aanbied, ook in Windhoek.”

Sy het bygevoeg sou hulle borge vir Windhoek aanboord kry, dit beslis gedoen kan word.

“Hierdie geleentheid is vir sukkelende enkelma’s, aangesien ons almal op een of ander manier deur die Covid-pandemie geraak is. Sommige het hulle werk verloor terwyl ander nie werk kan kry nie. Dit alles het ’n negatiewe impak op huishoudings.”

Covid-maatreëls is in plek, met elke stalletjie wat 1 meter uitmekaar geplaas word. Handreinigers sal ook op die perseel beskikbaar wees en die verkopers moet hul maskers dra wanneer hulle met mense in aanraking kom.

?’n Dans- en skoonheidskompetisie vir ma’s met die tema “Superwoman” is ook op die spyskaart met baie pryse wat gewen kan word.

Christians sal op 10 en 23 Desember ’n geleentheid vir pa’s en kinders aanbied wat ook by die Woermann Brock-sentrum in Mondesa gaan plaasvind.

“Almal is welkom. Moenie die fantastiese spesiale aanbiedinge by hierdie manjifieke mark in Mondesa oorkant Megasave misloop nie.”
