Araffath releases ‘Owela’

The producer features legendary Namibian musician Hishishi Papa on the track. In an interview with Erongo, Muhuure explained what the concept behind the song.
“Owela is an African version of chess. The song is about the fact that life is like a game and only the fittest survive,” said Muhuure.
He added that it was an honour to work with Hishishi Papa, saying “one gets to understand true African heritage and traditions working with him”.
Araffath hinted that he will release another album late next year as he is currently focused on releasing more singles and music videos.
“Expect Araffath to start working with big artists from abroad, and there is potential that I might move out of the country to a sound engineering school,”
Araffath Muhuure is the executive producer of Tripple Seven Studios, the record label that produced for award winning musicians like Jericho, Ann Singer, Doris and Gazza.
Muhuure won as best new artist in 2014 and followed that up by claiming the best producer award in 2016 at the Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMAs).
