Apprenticeship bursaries offered by Namdock

The closing date for applications is 26 November, with the following 25 positions available as from 2022:
• 4 x national vocational certificate in welding and fabrication level 2 – 4;
• 4 x boiler making level 2-4; 4 x fitting and turning level 2 – 4;
• 4 x fitter: machinery;
• 4 x general electrical level 1 – 3;
• 1 x diesel mechanic level 1 – 3; and
• 4 x carpentry and joinery level 1 -3.
Applicants should be Namibian citizens aged between 18 and 35 years. They must also have JSC grade 10 with 23 points in six subjects, with an E symbol in English, Mathematics and Physical Science, or NSSCO grade 11 with 18 points in six subjects with an F symbol in English, Mathematics and Science, or NSSCO grade 11 new curricula with 20 points in six subjects, with an F symbol in English, Mathematics and Physical Science.
The bursaries cover registration, tuition and stationery, transport to and from if outside Walvis Bay, hostel accommodation and a monthly living allowance. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements must apply with the following documents: Application covering letter clearly stating the field of intended study; an updated copy of their CV; certified copies of grade 10, 11 or 12 certificate; and a certified copy of ID and or full birth certificate.
