Air Force dominates Law Enforcement tourney

The fourth edition of the Erongo Law Enforcement Sports Tournament took place at the Vineta sports field in Swakopmund from 18 to 21 September, with athletes from the Air Force taking top spot.

They competed against teams from the Navy, Army, NamPol and the Namibian Correctional Service, playing football, volleyball, netball and in athletics.

With their 14 (4 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze) medals, the Air Force team placed first on the overall table. NamPol took second spot overall with 11 medals (3 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze) ahead of the Navy in third spot, who collected 7 medals (4 gold and 3 bronze) during the tournament.

The Army and Namibia Correctional Service finished in fourth and fifth place respectively.
