Vyf seuns en drie meisies is op Kersdag in hospitale by die kus gebore.

Die ooievaar was besig en het agt bondels borrelende vreugde op Kersdag by die kus kom aflewer.

Vyf babas is op Kersdag in Swakopmund en drie op Walvisbaai gebore.

Drie seuns en twee meisies is in die Swakopmund-staatshospitaal gebore en drie babas, een meisie en twee seuns, is op Kersdag in die Walvisbaai-staatshospitaal gebore.

Die eerste Kersbaba wat by die kus op Swakopmund gebore is, was 'n seuntjie, Simeon Nangolo Jesus Kapalanga. Hy het om 00:37 deur 'n normale geboorte in die wêreld gekom. Helvi Iipingi (31) en Mateus Kapalanga (33) is die trotse ouers van die babaseuntjie wat 'n gesonde 4,06 kg geweeg het.

Irja Eelu (31) het vir die dertiende keer 'n ma geword toe sy 'n babadogtertjie om 01:05 in die wêreld verwelkom het. Eelu en haar lewensmaat Tauno Atutala Erastus (29) het trotse ouers geword van babadogtertjie Hertha Atutala wat 3,07 kg by geboorte geweeg het.

Albertina Shadjuuka (23) en haar lewensmaat Simon Parata (24) het omstreeks 10:50 'n babaseuntjie ryker geword. Junior Simon Parata het 3,9 kg geweeg.

Dit was baie moeilik, maar Goddank, dit was 'n normale bevalling. Ek is so verlig en gelukkig dat ek op Kersfees wat 'n baie spesiale dag is, kon geboorte skenk,” het Shadjuuka gesê.

Grizelda Rusberg (20) en haar lewensmaat Uaseuako Katjiukua (22), het om 10:58 'n babadogtertjie wat 3,39 kg geweeg het, verwelkom.

"Ek het nie 'n Kersfeesbaba verwag nie, maar dit is inderdaad 'n aangename verrassing,” het Rusberg gesê.

Daar is ook een babaseuntjie op Kersdag by Swakopmund se Medi Clinic gebore. Dadriana Somaes (16) en haar lewensmaat Armando Auchab (25) het omstreeks 09:35 vir baba Adrian Ceaser Auchab in die lewe gebring.

Ceasar het 3,455 kg geweeg en is normaal gebore. “Ek is opgewonde en is gereed om weer 'n pa te word,” het Auchab gesê.



Walvisbaai

Op Walvisbaai was die eerste Kersbaba 'n meisie. Sy is “baba Mery” deur die verpleegster Loide Timoteus, 'n kraamverpleegster in die staatshospitaal, gedoop.

“Baba Merry” is om 07:30 vir Helena Ndjamba en Karera Mathews gebore. Sy weeg 3,45 kg. Sy is haar ma se vierde kind.

Die tweede baba wat 'n seun was, is om 12:40 gebore en sy ouers is Lydia Festus en Gabriel Sheefeni. Hy het 3,60 kg geweeg.

Die derde en laaste baba is om 17:45 gebore vir Sanna Roile en Cecil Katire. Hy het 3,80 kggeweeg.

Al drie ma's was baie opgewonde oor hul babas op Kersdag en al drie babas is spekvet en gesond.

Daar is geen Kersbabas in die Welwitschia-hospitaal gebore nie.

Geen inligting kon bekom word oor geboortes op Kersdag op Hentiesbaai nie.

Daar is ook een Kersbaba gebore op Omaruru terwyl drie ma's geboorte geskenk het in die Usakos-staatshospitaal.
