The number of Covid-91 positive cases have increased by a record 16 persons, the minister of health and social services Kalumbi Shangula just announced.

Shangula said that all the latest cases were from Walvis Bay. He added that ten of the cases had contact with confirmed cases and said that eleven of the sixteen cases displayed signs and symptoms when they were seen.

This means that there are now 76 Covid-19 positive cases in the Erongo region. These include 71 active cases in Walvis Bay, 4 active cases in Swakopmund and 1 recovery (Case 26).

Case No 106 is a Namibian female (40) from Walvis Bay with no known contact to a confirmed case. She was tested on 24 June 2020 and the result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 107 is a Namibian female (5) from Walvis Bay and a contact of a known confirmed case. She was tested on 21 June and the result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 108 is a Namibian male (5) from Walvis Bay and a contact of a known confirmed case. He was tested on 21 June 2020 and the result returned positive. He is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 109 is a Namibian female (40) from Walvis Bay with no known contact to a confirmed case. She was tested on 21 June 2020 and had Covid-19 related symptoms. The result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 110 is a Namibian female (48) from Walvis Bay with no known contact to a confirmed case. She was tested on 21 June and had Covid-19 related symptoms. The result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 111 is a Namibian female (31) from Walvis Bay and a contact of a confirmed case. She was tested on 21 June and had Covid-19 related symptoms. The result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 112 is a Namibian female (28) from Walvis Bay and a contact of a confirmed case. She was tested on 21 June and had Covid-19 related symptoms. The result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 113 is a Namibian male (23) from Walvis Bay and a contact of a confirmed case. He was tested on 21 June and had COVID-19 related symptoms. The result returned positive. He is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 114 is a Namibian male (37) from Walvis Bay with no known contact to a confirmed case. He was tested on 21 June as part of an active case search and the result returned positive. He is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 115 is a Namibian female (27) from Walvis Bay and a contact of a confirmed case. She was tested on 21 June and the result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 116 is a Namibian female (34) from Walvis Bay and a contact of a confirmed case. She was tested on 21 June and the result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 117 is a Namibian female (34) from Walvis Bay and a contact of a confirmed case. She was tested on 21 June and had COVID-19 related symptoms. The result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 118 is a Namibian male (25) from Walvis Bay with no known contact to a confirmed case. He was tested on 21 June and had Covid-19 related symptoms. The result returned positive. He is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 119 is a Namibian female (34) from Walvis Bay and a contact of a confirmed case. She was tested on 21 June 2020 and the result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 120 is a Namibian female (25) from Walvis Bay and a contact of a confirmed case. She was tested on 21 June and had Covid-19 related symptoms. The result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.

Case No 121 is a Namibian female (30) from Walvis Bay with no known contact to a confirmed case. She was tested on 21 June as part of an active case search and the result returned positive. She is in a satisfactory condition.
