CTC Trading Enterprises, a Walvis Bay-based company, that trades in the buying and selling of fish, decided to give back to the local community. The company donated food parcels to the residents of the Kuisebmond Old Age Home. Much to their delight the residents received some warm soup and were also pampered by having their hair cut and nails done. Company representative Carlita Gordon stated that they feel it is important to give back to the community they operate in. “We encourage other companies to do the same. Hopefully, this inspires everyone else. It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you remember the importance of giving back.” Photo Leandrea Mouers
