Narraville resident allegedly rapes minor
A 53-year-old resident of Narraville, allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl between May and August last year. The suspect allegedly invited the victim to his house in Seewier Street, to wash dishes. After washing dishes, she went to his room to inform him that she was done. The suspect then pulled her by her arm, threw her on his bed, and raped her.
According to a police incident report, the suspect allegedly warned the victim not to tell anyone what he had done. He had apparently send a text message to the victim after the incident, telling her that he would pay her if she visit him at his house so that they can do what they did, again. The parents discovered the message and wanted to know what was going on, and that is when she informed them. They informed the police in turn and the suspect was arrested.
He will appear in the Walvis Bay magistrate's court on Tuesday.
