The police in the Erongo region are on the search of four suspects who were involved in a housebreaking in Swakopmund.
The police are appealing for public assistance in tracking down four suspects who were involved in housebreaking on Wednesday morning around 04:00 in Swakopmund.The commander for community policing in the Erongo region, Inspector Ileni Shapumba confirmed the incident and said that the police received a report of a robbery that allegedly took place at a residence. "An elderly couple, an 87-year-old man and his wife (83) were attacked and robbed at their home in Dr Kuiama Riruako/Riverside street by four unknown suspects who fled with valuables. The police have not received any reports of injuries or harm to the victims and our members are on the ground attending to the matter."
Anyone with information that could aid the police in identifying and arresting the suspects is urged to call or visit their nearest police station.
