A 69-year-old Namibian truck-driver was killed when his vehicle collided with another truck near Karibib on Friday-morning.

A police incident report indicated that the accident happened about 05:00, about 34km from Karibib toward Okahandja.

It is alleged that the deceased Abraham Angula (69) was driving a Scania truck from Walvisbay to Okahandja when his vehicle collided side-on with an Iveco truck, which was apparently traveling from Botswana to Walvisbay. The next of kin were informed.
