Three babies arrive on New Year’s Day

Two boys and a girl were born on New Year’s Day at the State Hospital in Swakopmund.

Victoria Nawes and her partner, Florian Kauyu, welcomed their bundle of joy, Ethan Kauyu-Naweb, at 19:40 on the first day of 2018. At the time of birth, the baby boy weighed a healthy 3.36 kilograms.

The son of Chriszelda and Luciano du Plessis was born at 23:00 and weighed 3.02 kg.

The only girl born on New Year’s Day, Emma Halweendo, arrived at 16:00 with a weight of 3.155 kg.
