Vandals entered the Narraville Primary School premises, removed a number of window frames and also smashed a number of windows.

Acting principal Conrad Farmer confirmed the incident and said damages of approximately N$1 500 were incurred as a result of the incident which happened on Sunday evening.

“The suspect or suspects removed some window frames and smashed six windows. They entered classrooms, searched through cupboards and did not remove anything. This confirms our suspicion that this was a clear case of vandalism.”

Famer added that the police visited the scene and suspect that the persons responsible for the damages were either intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

Footprints found at the damaged windows indicate that one of the vandals is an adult who was wearing All Star branded sneakers.

Farmer called on members of the community and learners in particular to be vigilant and report any incidents of vandalism as well as suspicious individuals noticed on the school premises after school hours.
