Robbie Wessels bring sy jongste treffer, Mpe Di Hoenor, Hentiesfees toe. Dit is die koning van die Leeuloop se trefferliedjie op Woestyn, die album wat hy in Junie 2017 uitgereik het. Wessels is musikant, liedjieskrywer, akteur, grapjas en rolprentvervaardiger. Die afgelope 16 jaar het hy diep in die harte van die liefhebbers van Afrikaanse musiek gekruip. Woestyn het gou na die uitreiking daarvan goue verkoopstatus bereik. Robbie het reeds in 2002 sy debuut in die vermaaklikheidsbedryf gemaak. Sy grootwordjare was in die Vrystaat en in Pretoria het hy aan die Tswane-universiteit ‘n diploma in drama verwerf.
