Mr Walvis Bay 2019 crowned

Eleven participants competed for three coveted titles.

Leandrea Louw - The fifth annual Mr Walvis Bay competition took place last week with the theme “Biker Boys”.

Rowellyn Polster was crowned as Mr Walvis Bay. His first prince was Keanen Carelse and second prince Emilio Kotze.

Delano Müller was crowned as Mr Teen Walvis Bay 2019. First prince was Gerlado Frazer and second prince Keano Rubain.

Damian Lombard was crowned as Mr Junior Walvis Bay, and his first prince was Demarsho Van Neel and second prince Dantani Gowaseb.

Mr Public’s Choice Junior was Dantani Gowaseb, Delano Müller was Mr Public’s Choice Teen and Rowellyn Polster was Mr Public’s Choice Senior.

The judges for the evening were Samantha Oliphant, Abner Vilho, Monique Smith, Eloise Bouman and Liandro Martins.

This year’s master of ceremony and guest artist was Brendt Wayne de Wet from Stellenbosch, South Africa. He performed his latest single, “Never give up”. Local performers included Keenen Carelse, JR Cupido, Dance Group Saiyans, Space the Don, Latino the Gemini H-Bomb and the OKKs.

The participants and performers along with Brendt Wayne were seen collecting stationery from shoppers at Dunes Mall earlier on the day of the competition. Collected items will be handed over to various schools in Walvis Bay, where it will be distributed to children in need.
