Mini-reünie op Hentiesbaai

Twee finaliste van The Voice tree by vanjaar se Hentiesfees saam op.

Caroline Grace sal by vanjaar se Hentiesfees weer eens die verhoog met Fatman deel - nes hulle gemaak het in die finale ronde van The Voice waarin beide finaliste was.

Die twee se vertoning is die laaste een op die feesprogram en sluit daarmee die geleentheid letterlik en figuurlik op 'n hoë noot af. Hulle is Saterdag om 21:30 op die verhoog.

Eers was sy aan baie net as die Springbok-rugbyspeler Heinrich Brüssow se metgesel bekend, maar deesdae blyk dit dinge werk nou andersom.

Caroline Grace (Brüssow) het 'n nasie se harte gesteel toe sy aan die tweede seisoen van The Voice Suid-Afrika deelgeneem en onder die topvier geeindig het.

Sy en Heinrich, met wie sy intussen getroud is, het spesiaal van Osaka, Japan, gevlieg vir haar “blinde audisie” waartydens Bobby van Jaarsveld haar vinnig opgeraap het om deel van “Team Bobby” te wees.

Caroline sing en dans van kleins af.

Haar debuut-enkelsnit, “Ek Bid Vir Jou”, is opgedra aan Heinrich. Dit gaan oor sy rugby­spelery in Japan wat 'n reuse-afstand tussen die pasgetroudes geskep het.

Fatman, oftewel Johan Brummer, was tydens sy deelname aan The Voice deel van Kahn Morbee se span.

Morbee het in 1998 die immergewilde rockgroep The Parlotones gestig wat in Suid-Afrika en oorsee groot sukses behaal het.

Brummer kom uit baie musikale omstandighede. Sy familie is deurtrek met musikante, soos sy 16-jarige dogter wat klavier, tromboon en tromme speel. Sy 11-jarige seun speel klavier, tromme en kitaar. Albei sing ook en dit lyk asof musiek 'n familiebesigheid gaan word.
