Local learner pockets treasure hunt winnings

Anneke Burger (17) a learner at Pro-Ed Academy fished out the key to the treasure chest containing N$100 000 at the annual Treasure Hunt hosted by the school at the Mole in Swakopmund. Burger was unable to hold back tears of joy when she was the lucky one to find the key amongst 500 other participants. Burger said she’ll give some of the money to charity. “I am going to save some for my matric farewell next year and the rest will be for further studies.” In the picture, Anneke Burger after finding the key to the treasure chest.
