The fifth annual Le Tour De Narraville saw more than 110 cyclists as well as 60 runners and walkers joining the festivities this year.

The cycling event was started by local philanthropist and cyclist Danny Beukes in 2013 as a fundraising event for his church, the United Reformed Church, Narraville.

This year, cyclists could participate in the 65, 25 and 10 kilometre events, while runners could participate in a 10 km run. There was a 5 km fun walk as well.

Beukes extended his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation towards the sponsors and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make Tour de Narraville a huge success.

“A special thank you to the Walvis Bay traffic department, Narraville residents and the motorists. See you all again next year.”
