The International School of Walvis Bay (ISWB) had visitors from the Confucius Institute, situated at the University of Namibia on Friday. The Confucius Institute is a non-profit public educational organisation affiliated to the ministry of education of the People's Republic of China. Their aim is to promote the Chinese language and culture, support local Chinese teaching internationally and facilitate cultural exchanges. To welcome the visitors the learners showed the variety of cultures at the school. Seen here are the Grade 7 and 8 learners in their different traditional attire. Photo Leandrea Louw
