The fourth annual Carnival of Flames fire, dance and music extravaganza under the theme “Night at the Nile” once again wowed audiences in Swakopmund on Saturday.

The performers delivered a spectacular show to a huge crowd at the Vineta north sports field. The event took place on a custom built Egyptian-themed stage. Performers and artists from all over Namibia showcased their talents at the event and the feedback from the audience was fantastic.

Dance routines ranging from belly-dancing to a sensual Ramba had the crowd on their feet in no time. Some dances were also performed with the use of props, fire, LED lights and specialised costumes.

Artists and dancers from the Moon Goddess Dance Studio, Evolve Fire and Entertainment and Fusion Funk Dance Studio participated in the event. Local artist Savannah Collins also entertained the crowd with her soulful music.
